An 8-inch flexible AMOLED with 2K+ detail, up to 500 nits, and a board that gets it running today.
This is an 8.01-inch flexible AMOLED panel at 2480 × 1860, about 387 PPI over a 162.7 × 122.0 mm active area in a 4:3 frame. Self-emissive pixels give deep blacks and strong contrast, and the panel reaches up to 500 cd/m² before lamination (430 cd/m² after), bright enough for most indoor and shaded applications.
The panel runs on MIPI video mode, and the supplied HDMI driver board converts a standard HDMI source into the panel’s MIPI signal. You can evaluate the display from a PC, mini PC or single-board computer without writing a driver or designing a controller board first.
Unlike most small flexible AMOLED modules, this one is specified for -40 °C to +85 °C operation, which opens it up to instrument, vehicle-interior and outdoor-enclosure prototypes where a typical consumer panel would not be rated.
Compared with a 7.8-inch 1440 × 1920 flexible panel, you get roughly 1.7× the pixels and about 25% more pixel density in a similar footprint.
